The CSD Leak Test Machine is a specialized system designed for negative pressure leak testing of assemblies where plastic-to-plastic welding (vibration or ultrasonic) requires non-destructive validation. By utilizing a vacuum-based method, the system ensures leak integrity without risking damage to welded joints.

Key Technical Features:

Negative Leak Testing Technology:

Integrated with an ATEQ F620 leak tester, the system performs vacuum leak testing at -100 mbar using an Atlas Copco vacuum pump. This prevents destructive effects associated with positive pressure testing of welded plastic joints.ong>

Dual Test Functionality:
  • Blockage Test – Conducted on 2 spigot holes with +200 mbar pressure @ 10 LPM to detect blockage or flash from welding.
  • Leak Test – Performed under -100 mbar vacuum conditions, ensuring no atmospheric air enters the sealed part.
